I began The Agency Without Walls in 1985 with the goal of building long-term relationships by being completely responsive to my clients needs…
I started my career in New York at Scholastic Magazines, moved on to Print Media Buyer at Wunderman, Ricotta and Kline (at the time the country's the largest and most famous direct-response marketing agency), and then became the Promotion Director of the National Program Division of The Anti-Defamation League. It was during my years as Associate Sales Promotion Manager at Roaman’s Mail Order that I became immersed in all aspects of catalog from copy to credit promotions to customer acquisition and retention.
My family moved to Boston where, as Senior Account Executive, I handled The Talbots catalog and retail account. After several years as Marketing Director of Nature Food Centres, (which was later sold to General Nutrition Center), and as Senior A.E. of a couple of agencies, I decided it was time to go out on my own.
After almost 20 years in the Boston area, my husband and I moved to the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. Again, I became active in local business organizations — Berkshire Chamber of Commerce, founding member of both Southern Berkshire BNI (Business Network International) and Berkshire Business Sustainability Association, president of the Berkshire Entrepreneurs Network. I’m a long-time member of Southern Berkshire Toastmasters. And, because I believe it is important to give to your community, I am a member of my town's Planning Board, which is an elected position.
